Collectible, Vintage Ronson Lighters for Sale

The Ronson Company, originally known as Art Metal Works, began producing lighters in 1913. By 1926 they released a one touch light and release mechanism, which of course would continue to be used, modified and copied by companies throughout the lighter industry. It was the first of its kind on the market and it had the patent and defended lawsuits to back that up.
Some of the most popular vintage Ronson lighters are the Touchtip lighters, made in various shapes and designs. Some of these collectible table lighters incorporate clocks, others are part of entire smoking sets, some incorporate statue designs such as a golfer or bartender and much more. There was also a wide line of standard table lighters produced by the Ronson Company as well.
Of course, there is also a wide collection of vintage Ronson pocket lighters and Ronson case lighters as well. Both were widely used and there were all kinds of styles and looks to be found.
Today, the Ronson Company is actually owned by Zippo. There is a limited production of refillable lighters that you can find from Ronson now, but they will continue to be produced under the company name. These include the Jet Lite blue flame lighter, and the Comet refillable. In addition to these consumer products there are also various multipurpose lighters and torch lighters.
